    You have me interested in trying out the 60mm lens now. I'd be curious to hear more about the lens hood mask you created for it.

    Really enjoyed that article - thanks very much, puts my mind at rest a little as I've just brought mine only 2 days ago, after lots of agonising over various alternatives. Was a very reassuring read for me, especially as like you I own a 5D MkII and Nikon so great to find a review like this

    Great article, thanks. How did you know you had a bad contact on your 60/2.4? What were the symptoms? I just received mine and it seems like it isn't always communicating with the camera.

    Quicklad, my 60mm when set to f/2.4 acted like it was set to A. It was as if the 'A' setting was at both ends of the aperture ring. Try giving your contacts a clean with Vodka ( assuming you have no isopropylalcohol :)
