Surprised Kai wanted to bring it along. Kinda thought he hated it after watching his reviews on the camera and lenses

It's a popular camera and will easily get viewers. His personal preferences should not matter.
    Fujifilm Gear: F10, F20, F70EXR, XF1, X10, X100 (w/ Fujinon WCL-X100), S5 Pro, (w/Nikkor 24mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.8, and 50mm f/1.2 lenses), Fujifilm GA645

And a freezer full of Fuji Neopan Acros and 400H film.

Digital Rev is trying to become the top Gear of cameras. Kai=Clarkson, Lock=May Amably=Hamond. They even now have challenge like top gear. Digital Rev was funny but now is just waste of time unless you want to watch attempts at copying.

I like DigRev - its a humorous beacon in the dry world of camera reviews.

I dont think Kai was entirely unhappy with the XPro-1 btw

I think he likes the IQ, but not much about the camera. He sounds quite soft on the camera itself.

He's generally quite rightfully over critical.

Over critical? Or rightly critical? Where do you think he stands?

Well he loves leica so obviously he's going to be wrongfully critical on everything right?

Oh I dont know. I have immense difficulty taking anything Kai says seriously. He is so obviously more interested in being funny and entertaining than a reviewer. Delivering accurate information seems like an afterthought with him at best.

    Overly critical.

I dont care that he's trying to be entertaining, at least it holds my interest enough to watch it rather than endless shots of brick walls.

Agreed. Kai seems exceedingly dismissive of the X Pro 1.

I found him critical to it. To be honest his review is the one that definitely sold me on the X-Pro1 that I preordered...

DigRev certainly has some of the top gear attitude but its much better imho, TG jumped the shark a couple of years ago and is often just annoying generic banter nowadays.
