The last one was of some wild kittens that were running through a nearby field. They let me get close enough to take a few photos...

    Hi there,

I just recently purchased my X10 and it's my first camera so i'm relatively new to all this and am learning all the terms and just having fun playing with it all. I have a couple of shots that i would like to post but i don't understand how to post photos on this site, why does it require a link? what link is this?

    Eternal hope,

Nice photos. The top one is special. Caution....the kitten has a serious eye infection it would be wise to stay clear of them - especially the children.

Here's some shot I took yesterday with my X10! Just testing at ISO 800. My only semi-cooppertive model was Clancy.

I was trying to blur the back ground and had the lens opened with the shutter speed rather slow....his lower jaw moved! Didn't notice until I down loaded to computer. Just can't get good help nowadays......

Here are some of my most recent. I've had it 3 weeks and absolutely love it - it comes out on every bike ride with me. Plenty more in my photostream!

If you see that kitty again, you might consider taking him to a no-kill shelter. That looks like a pretty serious eye infection.

Rich health, your IR shot is stunning!

Thevowels, I made the very same comment. Felines can get a herpes virus that looks similar to the kitten's ailment in the picture. The virus can transmitted to humans. Sure wouldn't let young'ens near the kitten.

I love that last photo with the clouds. How much post processing was done?

Thanks WillH and dbarnett. A bit of extra contrast and a slight ND grad over the sky, but apart from that not too far from the OOC jpeg.

Hey guys, been out of town for a while, nice to see you guys enjoying your X10! The kitten was found in a field while I was traveling. I definitely didn't touch it, or let my son near it! Here are a few more pictures I took recently. BTW, I love all of your pictures! You guys are doing great work! img src="IMG_0250" alt="" />img src="IMG_0248" alt="" />img src="IMG_0247" alt="" />img src="IMG_0232" alt="" />
