is it weird that im missing it?

i have loads of camera kit and i leave it at my GF place all the time, but my X100 goes everywhere with me...
but i sent it back to be checked as i think there may be an issue with the aperture..

What kind of problem? Sticky aperture blades, or some different problem?

i think its the sticky aperture issue, the camera's metereing is very erratic and when you look from the front, the aperture blades dont seem to close properly.. no harm in getting Fuji to look it over anyways

good to know that @Brian_1976 ... I, too, needed to send my x100 a couple of months ago and had the lens replaced.
  • I'm Missing mine, too......Sticky aperture blades as well....haven't used it in 4 days....even though I have a D700 for work.

Haven't heard from Fuji.....Or will they just fix it and send it back without contacting me?

    Anyone know?

Fuji USA service is excellent !
If the camera is still under warranty, the day u got the message is the day the technician is working on your camera!
They will email u, send back the well repaired, lens replaced ( if SAB ), clean your view finder ( if dirty or requested ) by NEXT DAY Fed Ex !
Speaking on my own experience with them ( Steve is the tech who takes care of my issue, very helpful and friendly.)
    Good luck

I live 45 minutes from The USA Fujifilm HQ in NJ. I dropped it off yesterday at 11:00 am and received it back Fedex today at 12:30 pm. Had SAB, fully repaired. It was gone for 25 1/2 hours. Now thats service.
