Nice catch. Off to read this. Should be interesting.

    Fujifilm Gear: F10, F20, F70EXR, XF1, X10, X100 (w/ Fujinon WCL-X100), S5 Pro, (w/Nikkor 24mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.8, and 50mm f/1.2 lenses), Fujifilm GA645

And a freezer full of Fuji Neopan Acros and 400H film.

Clearly someone who hates Fujifilm and their products.

Silver Award......about right IMO. There was no way the X10 would get a Gold. DPR did a decent job although they missed the problem that forced a new recall of X10's. The new sensor causes excessive noise in some settings.

Wow, didn't think DPR would do a decent review! What's the negativity commentary gonna be about now?

Time to take pictures and talk about using the camera, not continually bashing it!

FinePixCamera: Is your noise issue not associated with the UK sensor swap software problem?

Are you in UK, FinePixCamera? Evidently there is a software problem with the sensor swap done there.

No, but I have read about the new recall. It looks like all of Europe are getting emails from Fujifilm saying that a second recall is underway. DPR has a thread covering this latest X10 failure.

I dont believe this is a software problem at all as that could easily be fixed via firmware.

    This is another hardware problem.

So recalling is yet another failure, yet if Fuji didn't recall they'd be a terrible company in your eyes Ratty, sorry "FinePixCamera". You're not going to find anything positive about the X10 so I suggest smashing yours into little pieces and moving on as it has completely turned you to "the dark side". From what you say you've got a good job so the loss will be minimal and you can buy a camera that you actually like, crazy eh?

Welcome to the forum Jimbo! Don't be lazy. Get off your bum and look around. You will find that I have posted A LOT of positive things here about the X10 and have posted MORE PHOTOS from this camera than virtually ANYONE ELSE.

Do I have critical things to say about the X10? You bet. Fujifilm has earned this lunch and they are going to eat it. Conversely, I also like the camera and have posted dozens of images from it.

As usual, the facts don't back up the lies spewed by the haters and "thinkers". Not. Even. Close.

What a wonderful 1st post Jimbo! Your contribution to this forum is VERY MUCH appreciated.

    Looking forward to MORE!

Great :) Since I've chatted with on on DPR I believe as well I haven't seen anything positive - perhaps I'm too late to the party, all I normally see is you, BillX08 and DJSR amongst others jumping on anyone who says anything positive. I'll eagerly await your next set of pics!

I did respond to something you'd said in the DPR SLR/X100 forum about orbs etc with sample images showing my newer camera couldn't display them or the increased noise many have mentioned but you never replied to that, I was expecting at least a critique on my orb finding technique as is common "over there".

*Edit - actually I remember now, you did put some nice photos in that South Korea thread I mentioned. It was started by another poster and you jumped on him telling him that his shots were crap and then posted yours to show how much better you are. Classy. I liked both sets of pics and styles to be honest.

Again, more lies from some without a hint of credibility. You are shameless and of course, completely transparent.

What I said, for those who are interested, was that the OP's photos did not demonstrate the natural beauty of Korea. Nor did they in fact give ANY hint at all that they were photographs from Korea. The photographs posted could have come out of Flint, Michigan for example. There was nothing Korean about them.

Being a huge fan of the country of Korea, I was hoping for more.

That was hardly calling them crap. My criticism was 100% valid based how I felt about them. Others differed and that is fine. It's a big world and there is room for all opinions. Except for dreck like you and a few others.

Nowhere did I say my photos were better. I demonstrated with pics what I mean about showing off his country's beautiful and interesting culture. Virtually anyone could do better than the images I posted.

More shameless and transparent lies from your ilk. Knocked down without so much as a hint of sweat. All that foaming at the mouth surely de-activates whatever neurons you might have firing, that is for sure.

You seem to have quite a few people that don't like you on here from reading through your posts (again having to go back pretty far to find positives), I'd suggest that is probably from your aggressive tone but each to their own.

Here's the thread for anyone interested, I was summarising rather than repeating word for word so for that I apologise - HERE My X10 Orb test images are at the end so they're kind of relevant to this thread.

Hello to everyone else here BTW, I've been reading for a while but first time posting today, sorry to cause outbursts from certain people already. :)

Dealing with incessant hacks like you might make me take it up a notch on occasion but trust me, when given in a normal conversation, no one utters a word of complaint to me. None. I have 25,000+ posts across various forums of history that back this up. I get a little touchy when slanderous lies are spread about me. I'm sure someone as wonderful as you would just sit there and take it.

No one reading that thread with a hint of credibility or intellectual heft would ever come to the conclusions you did above. I give you far too much credit here of course. Your bilge would never rise to the level of conclusion. That would imply that thought was involved.

Dont like it? Then don't lie.

I know me bad! But I do enjoy using the X10! They won't shut me up........ If they can bash, I can praise! I believe the intent of this site is, "to use and enjoy" not "bash and destroy" Fuji X cameras!

I read full DPR review now. It seem very fair to me the point out issues with camera and they also point out good points they are much more open eyes about X10 than some on this forum. I love X10 but I am still disapont that there seem to be so many little problem with it. Maybe soon in eutopia world Fuji will sort out hardware 100% and software people can get RAW conversion working right then camera will work to full potential.

The readership is thrilled to read each whiney, crybaby, woe-is-me, bilge filled post of yours.

I'll stack my (photo post)/(complaint discussion) ratio against anyone's here. I may not be the #1 with this ratio but I'll literally crush any of the flea infested maggots that have nothing better to do than rip me. Putting to bed yet another lie from the shameless hacks who insist all I do is come here to hate Fujifilm.

Very well balanced. You can see that from this review Fujifilm had a strong contender for DPR's highest award, the Gold. Too bad they muffed it up.

I wonder if there's some kind of troll recipe on the internet somewhere? From what I can see the vast majority work the same way:

1: Very little actual content in their posts.
2: Must use derogatory terms in every reference to whom they're replying, the more the better, usually find a personal term for each member - that way the insults look more "pro".
3: Quote out of context where able, be sure to pick up on grammar/spelling errors.
4: If previous poster has valid comments that negate your argument simply ignore the fact they said them and continue to insult indefinitely, be sure not to return to subject beaten on to avoid further references that ruin your argument, if indeed you are making one.

I know you've made many valid posts here Ratty, but you seem to have become another tiresome troll as the others you side with on DPR have. Move on, post on things you enjoy. The reviews on the X10 are all pretty positive, we know you got a bad one and have a grudge, at least you have one (unlike many on DPR). Many of us are enjoying our X10's, we feel sorry for you that you weren't able to but no need to try to make us feel the same way.
