Jimrod said:So recalling is yet another failure, yet if Fuji didn't recall they'd be a terrible company in your eyes Ratty, sorry "FinePixCamera". You're not going to find anything positive about the X10 so I suggest smashing yours into little pieces and moving on as it has completely turned you to "the dark side". From what you say you've got a good job so the loss will be minimal and you can buy a camera that you actually like, crazy eh?
Jimrod said:Great :) Since I've chatted with on on DPR I believe as well I haven't seen anything positive - perhaps I'm too late to the party, all I normally see is you, BillX08 and DJSR amongst others jumping on anyone who says anything positive. I'll eagerly await your next set of pics!
I did respond to something you'd said in the DPR SLR/X100 forum about orbs etc with sample images showing my newer camera couldn't display them or the increased noise many have mentioned but you never replied to that, I was expecting at least a critique on my orb finding technique as is common "over there".
*Edit - actually I remember now, you did put some nice photos in that South Korea thread I mentioned. It was started by another poster and you jumped on him telling him that his shots were crap and then posted yours to show how much better you are. Classy. I liked both sets of pics and styles to be honest.
Jimrod said:You seem to have quite a few people that don't like you on here from reading through your posts (again having to go back pretty far to find positives), I'd suggest that is probably from your aggressive tone but each to their own.
Here's the thread for anyone interested, I was summarising rather than repeating word for word so for that I apologise - HERE My X10 Orb test images are at the end so they're kind of relevant to this thread.
Hello to everyone else here BTW, I've been reading for a while but first time posting today, sorry to cause outbursts from certain people already. :)

I do not know one single other digital camera that have TWO hardware relate recall does any body ese? This not good sign for Fuji no matter what fan boy think.

What's with these rodents handles? That's a tell!
Yulp, time to sell your X10 and and move on! I am a FANBOY! Doesn't bother me one bit either.
Fan: noun
an enthusiastic devotee, follower, or admirer of a sport, pastime, celebrity, etc.: a baseball fan; a great fan of Charlie Chaplin.

That's ridiculous Will! You're on a site called fujixseries.com - how dare you like the product you weirdo! :D I am unable to even say I'm happy with my camera on DPR now as that makes me a "denier"... :/
HFM said:Nice and through review :) Also loved their little jab at the orb-obsessed loonies :D
"If you own an original X10 and you're being followed around by white orbs, Fujifilm advises that you contact your local authorised service center for a free modification (or a psychiatrist, depending on whether the orbs are talking to you or not)"

I think we ALL know about the cameras faults. We're just suck and tired of hearing the constant whineing about those faults. It's not so much what you're saying .....it's the manner in which you say it!
WillH said:Like I said.....yet another fine example of mental troubles......sad, very, very, sad.

Well balanced review

Jimrod said:I wonder if there's some kind of troll recipe on the internet somewhere? From what I can see the vast majority work the same way:
1: Very little actual content in their posts.
2: Must use derogatory terms in every reference to whom they're replying, the more the better, usually find a personal term for each member - that way the insults look more "pro".
3: Quote out of context where able, be sure to pick up on grammar/spelling errors.
4: If previous poster has valid comments that negate your argument simply ignore the fact they said them and continue to insult indefinitely, be sure not to return to subject beaten on to avoid further references that ruin your argument, if indeed you are making one.
I know you've made many valid posts here Ratty, but you seem to have become another tiresome troll as the others you side with on DPR have. Move on, post on things you enjoy. The reviews on the X10 are all pretty positive, we know you got a bad one and have a grudge, at least you have one (unlike many on DPR). Many of us are enjoying our X10's, we feel sorry for you that you weren't able to but no need to try to make us feel the same way.
