The delay you experienced is caused by the "Long exposure noise reduction" feature (page 28 of the manual). The camera essentially takes a second "blank" shot with the same exposure time to subtract it from the shot that was just taken. This is supposed to get rid of all "hot pixels" in the shot.

If you disable this feature, there will be no wait.

One of the best pictures I've seen of "Paddy's wigwam" as it's known. Nice work in Silver FX. Regarding NR - I don't let Fuji do any - it doesn't do as good a job as editing software.

Sorry for late reply, I was away for awhile. I also use Haida 67mm but get vignette, I will try again. Thank you Steve
