I also purchased Tony Phillips ebook, the complete guide to the Fuji X-T1 and I think it's pretty well written. Here's the Amazon link:
I also have an X-Pro 1 and an X100 leading me to the same question a while back. Some folks here suggested it was worth keeping and I have to say, I've been doing more shooting with it lately and am very glad to have it. Very easy to carry around with great image quality so I do think this is going to be a very long term keeper for me. It's kind of a special camera with a distinct personality that makes it fun to shoot with. Enjoy the fun and stick with it.
Wow, very nice image series, thanks for sharing, both cities look amazing. I've spent a bit of time in Singapore so it was fun to see the city again, especially with such wonderful pics. The Hong Kong series should be used to draw tourists :-)
Thanks folks, I appreciate the comments, I'm guessing you're right, the sale price of the X-Pro is probably going to be in the mid $500 range in the US. While that's certainly a consideration I am drawn to the better focusing and EVF characteristics. Not sure if the IQ is any better or worse since I haven't seen any comparisons yet. Appreciate the feedback!
