  1. Hi everybody! I'm new to the community, I signed up because I've been having some problems with my brand new Fujifilm x100F which I bought only a couple of months ago. It has already happened several times that while shooting RAW on continuous mode (8.0 fps) the camera would suddenly stop recording. I'll try to be as clear as possible: I focus, start shooting continuously (keeping the shutter button down), after a couple of seconds the camera stops shooting and shuts down completely (the LCD goes black). I try switch it off and back on but nothing happens. It only starts working again after I take out the battery and put it back in. The strange thing is that this doesn't happen all the time! Only sometimes, every now and then, completely out of the blue. And it's very annoying, especially because it caused me to miss out on some great shots. Does anyone have a clue of what the problem might be? Thank you!
  2. When I picked my next camera purchase, I got a few advices: "Do not buy a camera with a fixed lens!" "The X100F is made for street photography, not for sports." "Buy a weather sealed camera, X100F cannot be used in bad weather." I do not agree and bought Fujifilm X100F, and it works really well :-) Have a nice weekend! Here in Finland it's still rain Carl
  3. X100F or XE3?

Hey Everyone... Im sure im not the only one who is debating this, But I just happened to sell my X100t this weekend Ive been trying to figure out which camera to upgrade to because I really love the Xtrans 3 sensor as I already own a XT2 and considered it was worth it enough to sell my 100t for the sensor upgrade. The XE3 is being offered up at a great value with the 23mmf2 wr lens, so it makes it very comparable to the 100F.. I know the XE3 is still on pre-sale so I know not many have had a hands-on with it but most of you know what to expect. So with that being said, I want to know what camera you guys would choose and why. Thanks in Advance.
  4. I am finding the position of the Q button, on the X100F, is the only irritating design flaw on the camera. The same is true, though to a lesser extent, of the Q button on the X-Pro 2. I'm wondering a/ Is everyone else irritated by this?, and b/ Does anybody use the Q menu? As far as I'm concerned it is unnecessary, and if it is used by some, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if the button was somewhere else.
  5. Hi, anyone know if the X100f's digital teleconverter works in conjunction with the TCL-X100 teleconverter lens? If yes any idea what equivalent focal lengths can be achieved? Many thanks.
  6. For those lacking a bit of inspiration and a great example video production to promote a camera, the Fujifilm x100F video is great. The link is

I got my new tools yesterday. Yes, I'm a professional photographer and like to work with small cameras. This photo is taken with Fujifilm X-T1, ISO 400, 1/6s, 35mm lens.
  8. Hello forum, i'm new here and have owned my x100f for a few months now and i love it! As you can see in this video i'm a artist and would like to share this sketch i did of the x100f. For those of you interested... it took me just under 15 hours and i used the ipad pro 12.9'', apple pencil and procreate app. The most difficult part of the sketch was basically the whole lens!.. there was so many offset circles and it was incredibly stressful, however i got there in the end! So maybe this is a little different to most posts, but hopefully enjoyable. Once again! Hello and please enjoy! *best viewed in full screen 4k if possible.
  9. http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/firmware/x/x100f/ The firmware update Ver.1.02 from Ver.1.01 incorporates the following issues: 1. The phenomenon is fixed that in the MF mode, repeated halfway shutter pressing can shift the focus point under a specific exposure condition. 2. The phenomenon is fixed that in the MF and OVF modes, repeated halfway shutter pressing can shift the focus.
  10. I'm considering migrating from a crop-frame DSLR (Nikon D90) to the well-loved mirrorless world of Fuji X. The impetus is my upcoming honeymoon, where we'll be taking our dream vacation to New Zealand and French Polynesia. I can hardly wait to get my eyes on those beautiful landscapes! I was looking at full-frame cameras from Nikon and Canon, but after spending an hour with a work colleague who's maniacal in his love for the X100 series, I've changed course. The challenges I face with my current DSLR (bulky for travel/hiking, multiple lenses but never change them, too much effort to let photos happen organically or take the camera out regularly), seem to be addressed with these smaller, but just as powerful, cameras. As I read more, my excitement increased - people are obsessed with the Fuji color, sensor, and engineering. I do have a few questions before I make the switch. For landscape photography, am I sacrificing up anything major by not going full-frame? Have you been satisfied with your shots in this area? X-T2 vs. X100F - is there one that you would recommend based on my anticipated usage? About me: mid-30's outdoor lover, photo enthusiast, loves photography for travel and capturing lifelong memories of friends/family/moments. As I mentioned, I'm pretty much sold on the smaller profile since I know I'll use the camera more often (vs. pulling out my phone), just wondering about image quality for this once-in-a-lifetime trip! Thanks in advance.

  21. Hi all, I've been playing around with my new X100F the last week, and loving it to bits. Coming from the X-T2 (and X70) it's not hard to get to grips with, and it's a might little machine! However: new to me is the ND on/off switch. I truly don't get this function. I'm often using the physical 3 (5) stop EV compensation wheel on top of the cameras, but cannot see any difference in the images when the ND filter in the X100F is on or off. Also, no clips or info on the topic, (that I can find) is available online... Any helpful hints or tips? Cheers, o.
