In regards to Street photography, previous to 1.12 I simply was not getting satisfactory results when using AF, and I was forced to zone focus. Post 1.12, I'm getting much much better results and I really had a good time using AF today.

How do you set your AF region size?

Really small or do you keep it at the default big?

Some really great shots here and really nice B&w treatment. Which of the fuji cameras were you using ( I may have missed it)

Neat concept for the wall. btw, I'm shooting with the x100.

Me too.

BTW, I think real graffiti would look better - but our authorities are obstinate in fighting them.

Yes real graffiti would make for a better picture, but a dirtier city. Chicago is very clean and a big part of that is city dedication to graffiti removal.

I really like the one of the young man sitting with his guitar contrasted with the suits (and consumerism) in the window. Creates a 'wistful' feeling for me.

Zone focus, period. You've got the DOF, use it. Any degree of shutter lag of is the last thing you want.
