paul daraghy
i have a Fujifilm Finepix S9900w that has recently started showing a gray line grid on the viewfinders (making 9 squares). does not appear on photos after taken. can anyone identify what it is and how to get rid of it? i do have a screen shot, but apparently can't attach here. thanks! Photo Shooter
It is probably the rule of thirds overlay and you will be able to get rid of it in the menu option for the viewfinder. The rule of thirds overlay is very helpful to many people to use when composing photos. Maybe before you get rid of it you could do some reading about iot and decide whether it would be helpful to you.
