For general daylight use for me its F4 or 5.6 at 400 shutter on auto.

At night I stay as wide as possible 2 and 2.8, Auto shutter speed. I actually think the shallow DOF makes the pictures better. Auto ISO up to 3200 with maximum 1/40 shutter speed.

Lately I've been using F4 most often, I usually set my ISO to 200 and let auto take it up to 800. I've been using the automatic shutter speed on my walks, unless I'm trying to capture people or action, then I'll set it to something fast to make ensure I don't miss something in lower light.

At night I try not to go past ISO 1600, unless there's very little available light, I find ISO 3200 to often turn out soft after noise reduction. I'm still testing the boundaries though, once I disabled silent mode and started using the AF assist lamp, I've had better results.

The noise at 3200 is not something I would reduce. High ISO on this camera looks more like film grain than digital noise.
