Using an old flash

Recommended Posts

Yeah well I've thought I'd be helpful instructing clients as to the notion of universal connector on all flashes worldwide and it just so happens it is false in a plethora of situations. this is not at all a standard anymore. NOT AT ALL!

So if someone can turn me on with new data, I'd be happy to shoot with my canon 580exii and this cute fujiX100...

Thanks

If you set the flash to fully manual mode it should work on the X100.

Hello,

I tried mu Canon Speedlite 155A on my X100s, but whatever I tried, the camera wouldn't fire the flash (flash test button worked fine, silent mode off, manual shutter).

Just to make sure: when I insert it in the camera hot shoe, should I consider it an external flash?

Thank you!

Kasper
