The Two Primes

Recommended Posts

The "two primes" restriction... don´t be crazy. If you want to have the limit of 2 lenses you should choose 1 zoom-lens (18-55mm?) and 1 prime (35mm?). So you will have the choice of different focal lenght with the addition of low-light-capability. You want to use only primes? I would recommend the g.a.s-version: 14mm/23mm/35mm/56mm. You will love them all!

I would hang on to the XM-1 and use it als an extra body. Resale value is not great for this nice camera.

As for primes I own 14mm, 35mm and 56 mm.

The 14mm I keep on the XM-1 and for my XE-2 I tend to use the 35 or 56mm.

I am using an XE-1. The 18-55mm kit lens is a great all round lens . I highly rate the 60mm 2.4 lens which is great for portraits and close ups. It is a great 2nd hand buy.
