Front and rear command dials XT-10

Recommended Posts

SnapPuppy

Hey guys, been a while since I posted here, hope everyones ok.

Is it possible to set the front dial to say shutter control and the rear dial to aperture control on the XT-10

I only have the 18-55mm lens if that has an affect.

@SnapPuppy Just in case you've not found an answer...

The front command dial can be used to alter shutter speed, but you need to have the Shutter Speed Dial set to 'T' to get the full range of shutter speeds from 1/4000sec to 30secs, otherwise in Shutter Priority mode the front command dial will give 1/3EV increments towards the next top dial setting.

The rear command dial can only be used for aperture control when using a Fuji lens without aperture ring (I believe that's all XC lenses and the XF27mm?). Therefore, you can only use the aperture ring on your 18-55mm to adjust the aperture.

Hope this helps.
