Hiking thru moist flower fields at 9000' elevation near North Lake, CA, USA.  XPr02 & 18-55 lens.  I had just smashed my 60mm macro to pieces (accidentally, of course)!

This is a nice and refreshing image. I particularly appreciate the contrast between the lively flowers and the lifeless trunk. The blackened twigs on the upper right are a little bit distracting. It would have been nicer if they were screened by some fresher vegetation and thus less visible.

On another note, I am sorry to hear about your 60mm macro. I hope you will be able to find soon a good substitute.

Sorry to hear about your lens -  at least it is one of the cheaper lenses to replace. You had a good stand in for this scene which I love. Is there any scene better than a natural flower meadow of wild species? Not for me - the random heights. shapes and colours of nature'sl order is better than man can devise.
