Never heard about this place.   Thanks for sharing.  Your images do the cemetery justice - the IF effects do a great job in telling the story here of death after life.  No words are needed.  Just a visual masterpiece.  I can see why, through your images, this cemetery holds such appeal for the living.

I used to walk through a cemetery everyday on my way to school in the ninth grade.  I would always stop at many of the ornate graves and large mausoleums and wonder about what kind of life they led probably before I was born.  Seeing them everyday I felt a strange connection to them.  Very weird feeling indeed.

I went back to the same cemetery some 50 years later and they had added a section for babies.  I saw a young mother on the ground crying her heart out - she was just inconsolable.  Her infant daughter only lived 31 days.  When you have an experience such as this, it really affects you inside.

Your images stand on their own and tell a complete story without ever having to mutter a word.  Great, great job.

I love the sharpness and depth of field by the Fujinon 14 mm for shots like these.

Spent a few days decompressing from work over on Tybee Island outside of Savannah, Georgia last month and started looking around since fall is going to be nonexistent here in the East Tennessee mountains this year. This one and a couple more are in the gallery. It was nice just wandering around for a couple of hours with a camera again.
