A shot taken yesterday afternoon at Temple of the Winds at Mountstewart Co Down Northern Ireland. One of the first shots I have taken with my wee secondhand X-E1 and 16-50mm lens I acquired last week. First impressions are good so far.

It almost feels like spring with the warm light on the attractive facade. I often wish I had a similar setup for myself but my XE1 is converted for infrared so the XT1 is my smallest body. I got the little XE1 after my XP1 and XT1 and it was only then that I discovered how pleasant it is to carry and to use and although I have a 18-55 zoom, I think I'd buy the 16-50mm XC to pair it with too.

The first impression of this image is good as well.  I love the straight lines and the soft light.  Great composition, too.

Unless you often need really fast AF, the X-E1 is a great little camera. In fact several people find that the first generation X-Trans sensor of the X-Pro1, X-E1, and X-M1 produces photos with a nicer rendition (particularly of the colors) than the successive X-Trans sensors (see for instance https://www.fujivsfuji.com/fuji-views/x-e1-vs-x-e2-colour ).
