  1. I love this lens so much. This photo was made at f/1.2
  2. Hi there. I recently traveled for a shoot, and was able to travel light, do my shoot, transfer photos to my iPad and do light editing for delivery to the client. You ARE able to transfer RAW files to your iPad, however, Lightroom mobile only imports .jpg's for editing BUT since it syncs to your home/office computer, it will sync and apply the metadata to the RAW files when you upload the collection. You can also buy a SD card reader that will connect to your iPad. I have one, and that works great, too. I've had no issues with the X-T1's wifi transfer yet, but then again, I haven't had to do any major editing from the road. On my recent shoot, it worked just fine for me since the OOC .jpg's are fantastic with the X-T1. I recently blogged about it here: http://blog.jaysonoertel.com/2014/04/22/traveling-and-editing-like-a-boss-with-a-fuji-x-t1-ipad-lightroom-mobile/ I can't wait for tablets to get more power to be able to support RAW file editing.
  3. Since there seems to be some polarizing opinion on how well an X-Pro1 stands up in studio, here are a few photos I made using studio lighting (AlienBees b1600's) fired with PocketWizards. I'm not complaining...I absolutely LOVE this camera.
  4. can't wait to test the X-T1 out. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my X-Pro1, and if it's anything like it (or better), I'm ordering.
  5. I've had a lot of people contacting me lately about what my X-T1 settings are, so I created a simple blog post outlining how I have my Fuji X-T1 set up. For some, this may be very basic info. I'm hoping this can help someone fine tune their settings based on mine. http://blog.jaysonoertel.com/2015/02/25/here-are-my-custom-menu-settings-for-my-fuji-x-t1/ I'd love to see others' settings. Please share.
  6. Hi everyone. I just had a fantastic experience traveling with a small kit to shoot a band recently. Here's my full blog post of the experience: http://blog.jaysonoertel.com/2014/04/22/traveling-and-editing-like-a-boss-with-a-fuji-x-t1-ipad-lightroom-mobile/ I can't wait for tablets to get "beefed up" a bit more so we can edit in RAW on a tablet. Almost there I bet.
