    Tree fallen

I love the sharpness and depth of field by the Fujinon 14 mm for shots like these.

    Tybee Island vacation shots

Spent a few days decompressing from work over on Tybee Island outside of Savannah, Georgia last month and started looking around since fall is going to be nonexistent here in the East Tennessee mountains this year. This one and a couple more are in the gallery. It was nice just wandering around for a couple of hours with a camera again.

    Good blog, good pictures

A little long-winded between photo bits but there is useful info there too. The various articles give a working photographer's view of his tools along with some excellent pictures. http://philippowell.uk/

    Tree in Far North Queensland

While the family were looking at the beach, I saw this tree in the park and loaded the 14mm on to get the picture. What it doesn't show is the clouds of mosquitoes that live under the canopy. Taken at Cooya Beach, near Mossman, Far North Queenland.

    New (to me) XE-1

New to me XE-1 plus a 14mm and an 18-55mm, all in very nice condition. Quick 30 minute walk-around outside my office this morning just playing the scales, as it were. (I used to photograph this landscape architect's work back in the day.) Anyway, very happy with the bigger sensor over my X20, which isn't going anywhere. Really like the color on this thing but am having a lot of fun with the IR filter in Photoshop tonight. Wasn't expecting this level of sharpness in these files, color or with the IR filter. All the gear came from KEH and was in LN- condition so I'm hoping for many years of service from everything. Trying to figure out what to do about telephoto lengths before our next trip out west, hopefully next spring. Anyway, nothing fancy, but a shot of an urban greenway for the heck of it.
  14. Selling my Fuji XF 14mm f/2.8 R Ultra Wide-Angle. 7 months old, very well condition. Amazing lens! I live in the Bay Area, California, I would prefer to meet in person. $600, cash only. Thanks! Teddy
