  1. I want to start doing more serious landscape stuff, like long exposure, panoramas, light painting, star trails, etc. but have been struggling on the gear needed. I'm trying to build the simplest and lightest but capable landscape kit. Currently have X-T2 and X-Pro2 and in my next trip I plan to use both as it may snow and will be difficult to change lenses. Would you mind giving your advice on what tripod, lenses, filters, bags and accessories would help me to get better landscape pictures? (technically speaking, i.e. not blurred, good colors, etc. I know I should provide the eye )

Because of very bad weather here in Finland was the last chance to shoot supermoon 13 December 2016. I was very lucky and we got the chance to see the moon for two minutes.

    Tybee Island vacation shots

Spent a few days decompressing from work over on Tybee Island outside of Savannah, Georgia last month and started looking around since fall is going to be nonexistent here in the East Tennessee mountains this year. This one and a couple more are in the gallery. It was nice just wandering around for a couple of hours with a camera again.

    Northumberland and Scotland, 2015

Some straight out of the camera, no crop pictures from my holiday in Northumberland and Scotland, September 2015. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) Harbour. The tide is out. In the distance are the Farne Islands. You drive across a causeway to Lindisfarne and you need to keep an eye on the tide as if you get your timing wrong you can be stuck on the island for a good seven hours before it is safe to cross again. On Lindisfarne, fishermen recycle upturned boats into huts. After a few days in Northumberland, we have headed on up to Scotland, in the Loch Lomond area. We took a long scenic drive up
