  1. I've had my X100F since launch and it's never given me any trouble. Tonight I pulled it out in preparation for a trip and found that I can't switch to the OVF. The toggle switch left/right does nothing—no sound, no image flicker, nothing. The EVF just stays displayed as if I did nothing. The shutter on the viewfinder opens/closes properly when I bring it up to my eye, and switching to/from Viewfinder Only mode works great. I've seen lots of threads with this happening on the X100T or S because of macro mode but obviously that isn't an issue on the F. I also saw some suggestions about AF single vs. multi point, but again, not an issue on the F. Any ideas? Thanks!

    X-Pro2 viewfinder blob

Hi all. I've just noticed a blob in my EVF view, it's most distracting. (X-Pro2) I cleaned both the eyepiece, and the rectangular viewer, and changed lenses. It seems I have a large piece of black dust in my EVF, I say this, because I can't see it in the OVF. Also, if I use the diopter adjustment, I can bring this blob into focus, it is black, and bean shaped, with sharply defined edges. Any suggestions how I can get this distracting object out of there? Cheers all, John Williams :-)
  3. Hi, I just got my X-T2. The view mode button is a little inconvenient. I want to shoot EVF only most times (and keep the LCD off to save power and otherwise not have a glowing camera back), but I also want easy access to the LCD screen when I need it. Is there a way to reassign view mode to other Fn buttons, or otherwise switch modes quickly? Thank you!
  4. I take the picture and the image does NOT show in the EVF. When I first got the camera, the image review showed up immediately/automatically. HOW do i turn on that feature??
  5. Is there any help or advice out there? I have an X100, purchased in Feb/March 2011 and although it is not used as much as it once was it is usually with me. Whilst out yesterday I noticed that the OVF display was not what it should be/ used to be in Aperture and AF mode. I tried to re-set the OVF & EVF display but to no avail and so I assumed that I'd just tripped something buried in the menus. In an attempt to reset I restored the factory settings and reinstalled the 2.11 edition of the software updates but all to no avail. Even after recomposing the display to show, for example the grid and level and focus scale, they still don't show. Help!
  6. I have a new XT1 which was functioning ok but now the EVF is dark in all light conditions. I have set the brightness to +2 with no effect. I am guessing that I am missing something quite simple but any help is appreciated. Thanks
